X Band Weather Radar Antenna

Micro Metalsmiths  X band slotted array antenna  are low profile antennas suitable for use in civil aviation applications  including weather radar applications.

The array is manufactured from precision machined components and aluminium dip brazed resulting in a high strength yet light weight assembly

Ka Band Antenna

Micro Metalsmiths Ka band slotted array antenna is a low profile antenna suitable for use in speed enforcement.

For higher volume applications the antennas can be manufactured using Micro Metalsmiths proprietary loss wax investment casting process.

A version of the antenna is also available with a monopulse feed for use in applications such as rf seekers for missiles.

C Band Telemetry Antenna & Feed

16 foot antenna, comprising a multi-panel main reflector which is designed to be easily dis-assembled and compact for transportation.

The antenna is fitted with an advanced eight horn feed, comprising a network totally implemented in waveguide which provides superior control of sidelobes and generates a null depth of typically 50dB, far deeper than would be the case where coaxial components are introduced.

Careful mechanical design of the dish spars minimises blockage whilst retaining full rigidity and sidelobes in excess of 18dB.

X Band Comparator & Antenna

Micro Metalsmiths manufactured the monopulse comparator whcih was fitted to an X band slotted array.
