Since 1964 the foundry has been developed and expanded, specialising in copper and aluminium alloys. The Micro Metalsmiths process enables parts to be produced with complex internal and external detail, and with superior finishes.

The process provides designers with a fast and cost effective method for small batch requirements or for quantities up to 500,000 per annum.

Recent developments have involved the casting of ultra-lightweight components for space payloads with waveguide walls as thin as 0.4 mm and the production of low cost diplexers for the communications market.

Precision machine tools with dynamic
temperature compensation.

The company operates 18 CNC machining centres. To ensure the utmost accuracy and repeatability, machines are fitted with Renishaw probing and are regularly tested for positional accuracy, orthogonality and servo errors.
The machines are supported by highly skilled and committed personnel with the latest CAD software, ensuring efficient and effective running of the machines, 24 hours a day.
