8 Way C Band Power Divider

This 8:1 C band combiner is cabinet situated in a military environment. The restricted space envelopment and the power levels demanded a highly efficient air cooling flow path allowing optimum heat dissipation.   The orientation and configuration of the cooling fins was a crucial factor in meeting the thermal specification which, in addition to the integral loads, also had to consider the attachment of eight remote coaxial loads.

32 Way Ka Band Power Divider / Combiner

This WR28 (WG22) device is intended to operate in a TWT replacement scenario. It is manufactured as a machined from solid body and lid dip brazed assembly with as much mass as possible removed from the design.

The design of the tees was optimised to eliminate the need for fitment of extra irises or complicated undercuts and the manufacturing technique was optimised to minimise the need for phase adjustments after brazing.

8 Way S Band Power Divider

This device was designed and manufactured in house for Air Traffic Control applications.

The centre section of the part comprising the magic and H plane tees was produced machined from solid and dip brazed, the integral loads were fitted to cast 90º bends to keep the height of the device to a minimum.

16 Way S Band Power Divider

Designed and manufactured in house for a military radar application.

Rather than the traditional approach of using tees or couplers with terminations, this divider was manufactured using 3 port E plane tees fitted with a restive vane.

The transition from full height to ½ height is done using 16 special step transition castings.

Two pieces of jacketed flexible waveguide are fitted to the part to account for tolerance stack up during the manufacture.
