WHY MICRO METALSMITHS?
The requirement for precise sliding tolerances rules out the use of draft angles. The MM casting process enables such small and complex items to be cast accurately without draft angles, allowing accurate clearances to be held during assembly of the finished units.
What little machining is necessary is carried out at Micro Metalsmiths who are also responsible for the finish applied to the castings. This is one more success story where
discussions between customer and supplier eased production and removed serious problems.
