Micro Metalsmiths realises that as the requirements of the
RF and Microwave industry become more demanding a fast up-front design effort is imperative.

Decisions regarding the viability of a product or the best method of manufacture are made at the proposal and design stage. An extensive database of proven designs complements our experienced and innovative personnel.

Micro Metalsmiths products are realised using state of the art microwave design and simulation software, including a specially developed package for filter components.

Mechanical designs are realised using the latest 3D CAD and CAM systems. Prototyping is of paramount importance.

During this stage electrical performance is verified using vector and scalar analysers covering 0.1 to 50 GHz.

Mechanical tolerances are checked via three axis CNC based co-ordinate measuring machines and, if required, units can
be tested at temperature extremes, thermally shocked or subjected to vibration and shock screening through approved test laboratories.
